Born into a family of surfers on the island of Kauai, Hawaii, Bethany began surfing at a young age. She would eventually take runner up at the 2003 US National Championships.

On October 31, 2003 at the age of 13, Bethany was attacked by a 15-foot tiger shark while surfing off Kauai’s North Shore. The attack took Bethany’s left arm, seemingly ending her career as a rising surf star just as it was beginning.

Bethany shares her story live in-person at Canyon Ridge, and talks about how her faith shaped her life after this tragedy.

Join us April 20/21 and invite your friends for this inspiring story.

We are also hosting several food trucks, a special Hawaiian dance/drum show between services and sandcastle building for the kids (with clean up station). Join us for service and hang out afterwards in community! See you this weekend!

Food Trucks
Sheff's Kitchen, Melteez, and Hawaiian Shaved Ice.
