Giving Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What payment method options can I choose from?
    The program is configured to accept direct payments from checking or savings accounts, as well as credit card payments from Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
  2. How often will payments be pulled from my account?
    You may set this up to whatever is convenient for you. There are multiple options to choose from.
  3. May I donate through my banks bill payment service or mail my donation?
    Yes. If you would like to donate to Canyon Ridge using your bill payment service, please send it to the following address:

    For the account number please add the words:
    Lone Mountain (if you attend the Lone Mountain Campus)
    Centennial Hills (if you attend the Centennial Hills Campus)

  4. May I donate stock to Canyon Ridge?
    Yes. Donating stock to Canyon Ridge is easy and convenient. Please contact Gay Lynn Martin, Finance Director at 702.658.2722 x201 or Steve Wilson, Director of Operations & Development at 702.658.2722 x286 for further information.
  5. Can I test this system by giving one time?
    Yes. There is an option to give a one time gift. This is a great way to better understand how the system works. The system allows you the option of either making a one time gift or setting up a recurring gift that is scheduled to come out of your bank account at dates specified by you during the month.
  6. I still have more questions. Who should I talk to?
    For any questions, concerns or comments about the online giving system, your gifts, or technical issues, please contact us by email at contributions@canyonridge.org or by calling 702.658.2722 x201 for the Finance Director. You will receive a response from our staff as soon as possible.
  7. Is it safe to give online?
    Yes. In many ways giving online is safer than writing a check in that an electronic gift cannot be lost or stolen.
  8. Are there any fees involved with giving online?
    No. You will not pay any fees with an online gift.
  9. When will gifts be taken from my account?
    Gifts will be taken from your specified bank account within 48 business hours of the date you requested. This time frame allows time for the gift to process through your bank and the church’s bank. If the date of your gift falls on a weekend or a holiday, the transaction will be initiated on the next banking day.
  10. How will I know that I set up my gift correctly?
    Immediately after setting up your gift, you will receive a confirmation email. You can also login to the account page on our site. A list of your past giving records are accessible there. 
  11. Will I be able to give to special CRCC campaigns?
    Yes, during times when these campaigns are occurring (Scholarships & Mission Trips), you will be able to give a one-time gift to support the initiative or campaign. At this time we fund all of the regular ministries of Canyon Ridge through our general fund.
  12. How often should I make a gift to CRCC?
    Many choose to make this gift every week as a way of expressing their thanks to God. Others do so according to the way in which they are paid.
  13. Is my gift tax deductible?
    Yes. CRCC is a non-profit organization under IRC 501(c)(3) and has received its recognition by the Internal Revenue Service, as a result, your gifts to CRCC are deductible; subject to any limitation given your specific tax filing situations.
  14. Is the amount needed for CRCC the same every year?
    No. Each year, CRCC’s leaders evaluate the ministry needs for the upcoming year and make a prayerful projection of the cost for overall ministry.
