Following Jesus Is the Greatest Adventure
Following Jesus is the greatest adventure. Acts 19 shows why: believers in Ephesus turned from sin through John’s baptism, but hadn’t met the Holy Spirit. Paul baptizes them in the name of Jesus, and everything changes. John moved them away from broken patterns; Jesus moves you toward a Way, a Truth, and a Life that overflows to others.
Three anchors for the journey
Jesus is the Way. Step beyond “stop doing wrong” and actively walk where He leads. Let repentance become forward motion - actions, habits, and relationships pointed in His direction.
Jesus is the Truth. Ground identity in what you are for, not merely what you are against. Keep discovering new facets of His character, because Truth keeps unfolding.
Jesus is the Life. Jesus lives in you (Gal 2:20), filling ordinary days with power, joy, and purpose; His life in you brings life to others (John 10:10).
Questions to guide today
How are you being invited to receive life and bring life to others?
Where is Jesus asking you to discover more of His Truth?
Which part of your life needs the way, the truth, or the life of Jesus?
Choose one question and act on it within the next 24 hours - start a conversation, change a habit, or pray for fresh insight. Then share that step with someone who you think needs to hear it.
Remember: baptism isn’t a solo finish line...You are baptized to become a baptizer, inviting others into the same Way, Truth, and Life.
