Restoring the Broken

Are you seeking restoration? Whether it's a broken relationship, a sinful habit, or distance from God, is there an area of your life that longs for restoration?

Our society tends to destroy what is old and broken. It sees cracks, struggles, and flaws as irreversible, and those broken things are discarded rather than restored. People do this in relationships, too. Rather than work hard towards forgiveness and redemption, people neglect relationships when cracks begin to form.

This is not the way of Jesus.

Jesus sees the brokenness that so many people hide, and instead of turning away from it, he draws near. Jesus pours out love and forgiveness, extending grace as he offers restoration. It's not always easy — this restoration requires true humility as you face the brokenness within yourself and your relationships.

The story of Peter's restoration mirrors the experience of so many. Read through the story of his appointment, his failure, and his restoration:

Matthew 6:18

Luke 22:33-34, 54-62

John 21:1-10
