Jesus Is the Hope Fulfilled
Can you imagine living with confidence that one day all things would be made right again?
Pain would be healed, sadness removed, and injustice corrected? Imagine a world in which that kind of restoration was guaranteed.
For the first-century Jewish people, this was always the intention. God created a system that allowed a total reset every fifty years: land was returned to its original owners, enslaved people were set free, and families were restored (Leviticus 25:8-10).
This is what God always had in mind for His people.
In Luke 4, Jesus is revealed to be the fulfillment of that promise. That picture you imagined for a future restoration? It's real.
Through Jesus, God entered your life to bring hope for the coming transformation. Jesus is the answer to your questions, the solution to all injustices, and the healing for your pain. This restoration may not be realized today, and some moments you may feel more desperate than others, but hold onto hope — that day is coming.
There will be a day with no more mourning, no more tragedy, and no more confusion. Don't lose hope! He is with you today, just as God was with the Jewish people so many years ago, and He will come again.
This Christmas, celebrate that Jesus is with you and that He will come again. Jesus is the fulfillment of the things hoped for.
