Now What? Find Courage, Hope, and Purpose

After celebrating the incredible truth of Jesus’ resurrection, it’s easy to find yourself asking, "Now what?" That question isn’t new. In Acts 1, even the earliest followers of Jesus - those who walked with Him, witnessed His miracles, and saw Him alive again - found themselves wondering the very same thing. Jesus had risen from the dead, but now He was preparing to return to the Father, and the assignment He left behind felt overwhelming.

But here’s the good news: You aren’t meant to figure it out alone. Jesus promised His Spirit to empower and guide you, and His place on the throne means you can live with courage, hope, and a deep sense of purpose.

When life feels overwhelming, here are a few things to hang on to:

  • Jesus is still on the throne. No matter how chaotic things seem, He reigns with your good in mind.

  • You have the Holy Spirit. God didn’t leave you to figure it out on your own. His Spirit is your helper and guide.

  • You’re called to be a witness. Wherever you are - your home, your work, your city - you carry the story of hope.

  • You don’t have to do it alone. Just like the early believers gathered in prayer and Scripture together, community matters.

  • The story isn’t finished. One day, Jesus will return, just as He promised. You live in the hope of what’s to come.

The first followers faced uncertainty too, but they found their strength not in what they could see, but in who they trusted. That same invitation stands before you today.
