Good With God | Session 3

Welcome to the next session of the Good with God group study! Each week we will receive a tip for how we can help our group have the best experience as we use the Discovery Bible Study(DBS) method. Download the study guide below to follow along!

Our second tip for DBS is this: Don’t feel like you have to answer everyone’s questions… instead respond to difficult questions with: “That’s a great question, what do you all think?” (Opening up the question to the room). Try to honor both the question asker and the rest of the room’s time. There may be a space to answer at the time of asking a question, but use discernment! A great way to segue from these questions can be, “That’s a great question, we should explore that more together after our time today.” (encouraging further discovery later or keeping us on track so we can talk at the end).

CONNECT

RECAP

4. Someone retell the passage from your previous meeting (Genesis 2… Creation!)

5. Did you do what you said you were going to do and share with who you said you were going to share with? how did it go? Share any stories that came from living out your “I will”!

DISCOVER WHAT GOD IS SAYING

This week we are learning about the story of Genesis 3:1-24. Gather with your people to listen deeply and ask meaningful questions to reveal what Jesus might be saying to you through this story! Don’t forget to download the study guide to get all the questions, notes, and follow along with the group!
