Good With God | Session 5

Welcome to the next session of the Good with God group study! Each week we will receive a tip for how we can help our group have the best experience as we use the Discovery Bible Study(DBS) method. Download the study guide below to follow along!

Our fourth tip for DBS is this: Hold each other accountable with the ‘I will’ statements from the previous week. To stay accountable, remind one another of the lesson from the previous week. If the ‘I will’ statements aren’t lived out, it’s ok to redo a week of what the call to action is.

Celebrate the wins of the way transformation is happening within the group and graciously challenge those who haven’t done their commitments. The accountability of encouraging one another is not something of condemnation, but trying to help one another live transformed lives. We don’t realize how much we need God’s grace until we try to obey. This makes us utterly aware of our need for God’s grace and help. And praise God! He has more than enough grace for each one of us AND calls us to obey. God is far Moree concerned with our transformation than mere information. Information applied leads to transformation, and as we obey what we know, we will be transformed. We want to honor God with our obedience. So let’s not move on until we obey!
