From the time the church began in Acts 2, generosity was and is one of the key markers of the healthy church. Followers of Jesus were invited to grow in the work set out for them, reaching past what had been familiar and comfortable. Today, as Jesus followers, we are doing the same. At Canyon Ridge, we want to spark a movement of disciple-makers in Las Vegas and beyond. The only way we can do this is by Going Together.

Every dollar given will go to the mission and vision of Canyon Ridge overseen by the Elders, Staff, and Operations team, who faithfully steward what has been entrusted to us. Whether or not we hit our goal, every dollar will still go in the direction of sparking a movement of disciple-makers. We will continue to move in transparency as we progress toward our goal.

To spark a movement of disciple-makers, we believe God has called us to raise up the next generation. God is moving in the lives of kids and students in Las Vegas, and right now they are finding their way in their faith. The kids’ building will be remodeled with the latest safety measures to serve families for years to come. We will also expand a new building for students and other ministries. Expect updates along the way from our Family Team and leadership. We invite you to pray for all that God has planned for the future!

Commitment Weekend is on Nov. 8-9, 2025. This is when the entire church will be invited to make a commitment now for the next two years. We are all invited to prayerfully consider what we are giving already, no matter how much or how little, and ask God to spur us into even greater generosity!

Continuing our current giving patterns, $17,250,000 will continue funding the ministry at Canyon Ridge, as it has been, for the next two years. After years at the edge of our campus’ capacity, it’s time to expand and refresh. An additional $10,000,000 will create space for the kid’s building to be remodeled with the latest safety to serve families for years to come. Plus a new building will be added for students and so many of our other ministries. Through these updates, we can continue to equip disciples who make disciples in Las Vegas and beyond.

Discernment from our Elder Team, Operations Team, and Staff Team will be necessary along the way to ensure we remain consistent with God's call on our church and are fiscally wise and faithful. People across Canyon Ridge can expect consistent, timely, and transparent communication of next steps, timelines, and decision-making to have confidence that we are all Going Together.

Every dollar goes toward the specific mission and vision of Canyon Ridge. At our church, a one-fund approach creates healthy margin, allowing the Elders, Operations, and Staff team to prayerfully and wisely steward the generous commitments of Canyon Ridge well.

To give toward Going Together, the best thing to do is (1) fill out a Commitment Card (available in print in the Initiative Workbook) so we can track the additional pledged commitments and (2) give to Canyon Ridge as usual, and adapt your recurring gift to reflect your commitment.

Going Together is a two-year initiative. Construction on the kids' building is scheduled to begin in October 2025, and is expected to be completed by Summer 2026. Provided the funds from commitments are on target, “Going Further” anticipates a student building. Artistic and architectural renderings are already in the works. Stay tuned as we look forward to begin construction and follow God’s guidance for only what He wants to do.
